16 teams made the Champions Club and enter the African Confederation Cup including Yanga

After the release of competing in the African Champions Club of Dar es Salaam team Young Africans and Zanaco of Zambia team for an away goal from the first leg in Dar es Salaam ended in a 1-1 draw and a 0-0 second leg.
