'Wait 'til he hears about Austin Powers!' - Liverpool fans react to bizarre 'James Bond' rant

Liverpool fans have reacted with bemusement after Parry's outburst at the Hollywood star's trip to Anfield on Saturday

Liverpool fan Daniel Craig visited Anfield to watch the 228th Merseyside derby on Saturday - and it all proved a bit too much to take for talkSPORT's Mike Parry.

Despite being a well-known Liverpool fan and visiting Anfield regularly, Parry seemed to take offence at the current James Bond's trip to watch his side in action in one of the biggest games of the campaign.

What followed what a barrage of tweets that denounced the Hollywood star's decision to travel to Anfield for the visit of their neighbours, seemingly forgetting that Craig is an actor who portrays the fictional MI6 agent.
