Neto is billed as one of Portuguese team Braga’s most promising stars for the future.
The 17-year-old has impressed in the reserves, scoring 16 goals across 21 games.
Spanish outlet Don Balon claims the youngster is a friend of Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo, who rates him highly.
And Catalan newspaper Sport says he is also wanted by Barcelona.
The La Liga holders have reportedly opened talks with the teenager over a summer move to the Nou Camp.
Pep Segura, manager of Barcelona’s B and youth teams, believes he has the capacity to be a big hit at the club.
They only have to pay his training rights to Braga, with the player then being able to move in August.
Should he move, he will then join Barcelona’s famous La Masia academy which has produced the likes of Andres Iniesta, Cesc Fabregas and Gerard Pique over the years.
As well as the Catalan giants, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool are also watching him.
